RE/MAX Collection Luxury Forum (November 2, 2015)

The RE/MAX Collection® Hosts Summit for Luxury-Home Real Estate Agents

Pam Danziger to keynote meeting

The RE/MAX Collection [®] will host its third annual Luxury Forum at the Four Seasons at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, beginning Sunday, November 1. This year, the Forum has attracted more than 270 guests traveling from over 30 states and three Canadian provinces. Together, attendees will focus on the current state of the luxury property market, social marketing techniques and the luxury homebuyer and seller.

“When Luxury brokers and agents get together, incredible things happen,” says Anne Miller, Director, Brand Marketing, The RE/MAX Collection. “This event allows our Associates to share their experiences from the past year and create a better understanding of tomorrow’s luxury homebuyers and sellers – ultimately empowering them with the necessary tools and information to provide first-class customer service.”

The two-day forum features eight well-known industry professionals ranging from international instructors to localized leaders. Tami Simms, Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM) Expert Trainer, has been teaching alongside founder Laurie Moore-Moore for nearly a decade. On Monday, Simms is expected to discuss social media and its uses within the luxury market. Unity Marketing President Pamela Danziger is also expected to present on Monday and plans to share market data on the luxury consumer, as well as strategies for agents to reach them.

According to this week’s ILHM Luxury Housing Report, of the 24,254 luxury homes on the market in the U.S., the median price is around $1.3 million. Metropolitan markets with the highest median prices for luxury properties are New York ($3.3 million), Los Angeles ($3.2 million) and San Francisco ($3 million).

As of today, 1,150 RE/MAX Associates hold the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation across the network. An increase in the number of specialists when compared to the same time period last year can be attributed to a strengthening luxury market and the expectations of affluent buyers and sellers.
